Never use egg's when trying to fry the paneer for the paneer chilly.
Here's what I did and this din't turn out the way I had imagined.
* Equal portions of corn flour and all purpose flour + an egg
* Dip cubes of paneer into this mix and deep fry, could also do a shallow fry. Keep aside
* Take some oil in a wok, add finely chopped ginger garlic and green chillies
* Also add a few green chillies cut logitudinally. Number of chillies depends on how spicy you want this to be.
* Add Onions let it cook for a minute, add some ginger garlic paste. Sprinkle some salt to speed up the cooking of the onions.
* Add longitudinally cut capsicum and tomatoes .
* To this add a tea spoon of Vinegar, soy sauce, and con flour mixed with some water. I had some all in one stir fry sauce from the kitchen of Ching's secret.
* Add the fried pieces of paneer, toss them well so that the sauces rightly cover the added paneer.
* Ideally add finely chopped spring onions, but since I dint have any I ended up adding coriander.
Now this turned out into a disaster, and extremely boring. The sauce turned out ok, but the paneer fried in egg batter wasn't all that great. Had a bad after taste, maybe i should go back to my original recipie of frying the paneer in conflour - maida and cold water.
Or may be I should stop cooking when having beer. :))
Don't blame me, I was following Mr Vahrevah's recipe.
